Disclaimer

What our content is, what it is not, and where your professional responsibility begins.

1. General information only

Everything published on this website and everything generated by the FitContent app is general information for content creators. It is not personalised advice of any kind and it is not a substitute for professional judgement, qualification or assessment.

2. Not medical, physiotherapy or dietetic advice

FitContent is a writing and content tool. It is not a healthcare provider. Nothing on this site or in the app:

  • Diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition or injury
  • Constitutes physiotherapy, medical, psychological or dietetic advice
  • Should be relied on in place of consulting a qualified professional

Where our guides mention exercises, cues, injuries or nutrition, they do so as examples of content topics for fitness professionals — not as clinical guidance for any individual. If you or a client has pain, an injury, a medical condition, is pregnant or postnatal, or is taking medication, the appropriate step is assessment by a suitably qualified professional. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services.

3. Your professional responsibility

If you are a trainer, coach or instructor using FitContent, you remain fully responsible for:

  • The programming and advice you give to your clients
  • Screening, assessing and referring clients appropriately
  • Working within your scope of practice, certification and insurance
  • Any claims made in content you publish under your own name

Workout or meal suggestions from the app are creative starting points to build content around. They are not prescriptions, they have not been assessed against any individual's circumstances, and they should never be handed to a client unreviewed.

4. AI-generated output

Output from FitContent is produced by an automated system. It may be inaccurate, generic, or factually wrong, and similar output may be generated for other users. You must review, verify and edit anything before publishing it.

You are responsible for ensuring your published content complies with the rules of the platform you post on and with advertising and health-claim regulations in your jurisdiction — which in many places restrict what may be claimed about weight loss, body composition and health outcomes.

5. No guarantee of results

We make no promise about reach, views, engagement, follower growth, enquiries, clients or revenue. Outcomes on social platforms depend on factors entirely outside our control, including the platforms' own distribution systems, your niche, your market and your execution.

Where our guides describe outcomes — a client adding weight to a lift, an approach that worked — these are illustrative examples used to teach a content principle. They are not typical results, not a projection for you or your clients, and not a promise.

6. Platform independence

FitContent is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, ByteDance, Google or Apple. Descriptions of how any platform behaves reflect our understanding at the time of writing; platforms change frequently and without notice, and we cannot guarantee current accuracy.

7. External links

We link to third-party resources where they are genuinely useful. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it. Our links are not paid, and we do not run affiliate links in our editorial content.

8. Advertising

This website may display third-party advertising. Advertisements are separate from our editorial content, we do not select individual advertisers, and their appearance is not an endorsement. Our editorial policy confirms that advertising has no influence on what we publish.

9. No professional relationship

Reading this website or using the app does not create a coaching, medical, consulting or professional relationship between you and FitContent.

10. Errors and corrections

We take accuracy seriously and we still get things wrong. If you find an error, please tell us — we correct substantive mistakes and update the page date. See our editorial policy for how corrections are handled.
